This 2-Year Warranty Service Plan protects consumers when the unexpected happens by repairing the defective appliance in question or replacing it should it be deemed irreparable. There are no limits to the number of defective repairs during the coverage period, and the plan covers 100% parts and labor for qualified repairs.
Note: With respect to in-home or carry-in service, this contract mirrors the original manufacturer's warranty. Coverage would begin from date of purchase. This warranty is for residential use only, and covers APPLIANCES with a value LESS THAN $1500 only.

Keepin Cool
I was able to get the extended warranty included with the package deal I purchased. So far I have not needed to use it as my portable air conditioner is working fine. But who knows in 2 years??? Nice to know it is there to fall back on.

Bought two - EXTREMELY satisfied.
Using two units in adjacent large rooms
(Actually one very large room). Makes the hot,uncomfortable weather into a cool, livable space.Well worth the price - very good value.

Sounds good, although we don't have any
If the salesperson who assisted me is correct, the negative to this warranty is that if a tech can't assist me with the problem by phone, I will have to arrange shipment back to the manufacturer. I'm not sure until I actually receive the booklet if this means I have to save the packaging, etc.

warranty
Praying that it won't be necessary to use the warranty. Hopefully the product is well made and will last many years so the warranty won't be necessary!
