This fan is amazing
I have 3 other Vornado fans; 2 are the next biggest size from this, and 1 is a tiny desktop one. They are all great. This fan is far more powerful than the next biggest Vornado. It's at least twice as strong, maybe 3 times. My living room is roughly 20x20 and my wall air conditioning unit is stuck in the corner of the room, so normally the far end of the room is cold but the rest is warm. With this fan, the cold air is very well distributed throughout the whole room.
A+ and I'm thinking of buying a 2nd one lol!

The Best Fans ever. Glad someone put thought into the Design.
Moves more air, as if there is a breeze flowing throughy

Are the best idea I've seen in a while.
Put the fan in the "car hold", and This sucker cooled off my Garage in no time At all, and is now very comfortable to work in,
Even in the summer here in , Phoenix.
How about carrig OT at sears or best buy,
So I can just go buy another one.

Super Fan
This fan performs as advertised. It is quiet, powerful and portable. It does wonders in a hot garage or any room. The region where i live has had over 22 consecutive days of temperatures at 90 degrees or above and this fan does wonders to move the hot air.

Two 293, one 733
733 purchased 2003 for bedroom use, doing well. 293 purchased 2004 for barn use to keep bugs off horse, continuous use from May or June to September or October every year. Front bearing started making noise in 2010 so I lubed it even though Vornado says it does not need it, and runs fine now. Maybe the model that year did not have bearings, or the wear is an anomoly? A second 293 just purchased July 2011 for our second horse and it does seem to have much more power. I got tired of fooling around with cheap fans so that why I get Vornados.
