Store Up to 69 Bottles With A Mid-Size Wine Cooler
Today’s wine drinkers understand that wine needs proper storage in order for it to taste amazing. This is why they invest in mid-size wine coolers for their homes and offices. Mid-size wine coolers are wine coolers that hold 30 to 69 bottles. They are designed to provide a visual appeal and preserve your wine so you can consume it at optimal taste. Living Direct offers mid-sized coolers in a variety of brands and styles, allowing you to find the ideal one for you specific needs.
Functionality, Design, and So Much More
When you purchase a mid-size wine cooler, you will have an appliance that is specifically designed to store your wine. Some of the mid-size wine coolers are made as built-in appliances. These are usually designed to fit with your cabinets and drawers. An under counter wine cooler provides a custom look, and you can purchase the specific size you need for the area you want to place the unit. Free-standing wine fridges are more portable, and less custom built. Although they are not built into the cabinets, they are often nice to display openly in an entertainment room or office.
One of the top reasons people invest in mid-size wine coolers is so they can keep their wine at the right temperature. Red wines and white wines last longer and taste better when they are stored below room temperature. Red wines can usually be stored at a higher temperature than white. For this reason, some of the coolers have dual cooling zones. Each zone can be adjusted to accommodate the different temperature needs of your white and red wines. In addition, there are also single temperature coolers. You can set the unit to a specific temperature that is best for your collection of wine. Most of the mid-size wine fridges have LCD displays that allow you to digitally set and control the temperature.
Designed to comfortably store up to sixty-nine bottles, this type of wine cooler also has the capability of re-configuring the shelving to also store cans. They are made in a variety of finishes including metal and stainless steel. Most of these refrigeration units have glass doors with special UV shielding technology to prevent the temperature increasing inside unit. If the temperature does rise, the quality of the wine is diminished. Wine refrigerators can have one door or double doors, depending on the size and design. Some units also have locks. Which is extremely beneficial if you have an expensive wine collection. Not to mention good for your business owners who want to store wine on the office premises.
Like other types of refrigerators, wine coolers of this size come equipped with customizable shelving to make it easy to store your wine. The shelves in a cooler are designed to hold bottles of wine. This way they stay secure and free from excessive vibrations. If you were actually to store them in a refrigerator, the risk of damaging the bottle or the wine itself increases. Still, there is a chance that the flavor could be compromised by the other foods in the fridge. This is why so many people prefer to store their wine in a dedicated wine cooler. They are extremely sturdy and made from high quality materials. They will hold up for several years, which is ideal if you have a special wine that you want to save for a loved ones future wedding or your own future anniversary.

General Summary of Proposition 65
The “California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986” (more commonly referred to as ‘Proposition 65’)
was enacted to ensure that customers be properly warned when a product contains a substance known to cause cancer or
reproductive harm. The law requires the State of California to publish and maintain (annually) a list of substances
to be available to the general public. Additionally, the law requires that businesses properly notify residents of
the State of California about the presence of these substances in the products they purchase, or that may be present
in their homes, workplaces, or that otherwise may be released into the environment. The specific list contains a wide
range of naturally occurring and synthetic substances including manufacturing and construction chemicals, pesticides,
tobacco, food-additives, solvents, household products, drugs and byproducts created from a specific product usage.
You may have noticed the below warning label on our products, or on products from other manufacturers. The warning
has become increasingly commonplace and oftentimes raises questions about why the warning exists, and what it means
to a customer. The warning itself is just one of many requirements for businesses operating in and/or selling products
to customers in the the State of California. The warning does not mean that a product that includes the warning will
cause cancer or reproductive harm, but rather it simply is provided in order to educate the consumer that a substance
may exist. A large number of the substances listed under Proposition 65 have been in regular use for many years
without any documented harm to a consumer. This is due to the low concentrations and minimal exposure that actually
occurs with these substances. Those chemicals, however, have been determined by the State of California to be listed
as potentially harmful.
I don’t live in California. Why did my product include this warning?
In order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements we have determined that all products manufactured by
Living Direct Inc, including products sold under the EdgeStar, Avallon and Koldfront brands, should include the
above-referenced warning label. This labeling requirements exists for all of our products regardless of the
location / destination to which the product is ultimately sold and/or shipped.
We believe that our products, when used as designed, are not harmful and as such this warning is provided
in order to properly conform to the requirements of Proposition 65.
