Used for hot drinks several times each day
The look and feel of this electric kettle is a pleasure, and it heats up really quickly, too. One of the main reasons I bought it was to avoid boiling water in a metal container (even wanting to avoid stainless steel). Glass heats purely without leaving residue, and that's why I love this kettle. .

really good product would buy again
bought this product to replace a Black and Decker tea kettle. here are some of the points that i like about this product. it has gradient measurements on the side in both English and metric measurements which is ideal if you want to boil water for specific uses ( such as making rice or other grains) the glass is heavy duty so you don't have to worry about being overly careful handling it. The on/off switch is very sturdy, on other models that I've owned some of the switches were very flimsy (not here). Glass is easy to keep clean as compared to stainless steel. there is no obstructive heating element within , rather it works on the same principle as boiling on the stove.. The mouth is large enough so that you can actually wipe inside the unit ( we have very heavy water where i live and do need to clean the inside of the unit to prevent buildup) . what im not so crazy about is that it is louder than our last unit (hence the 4 stars) HOWEVER the water here does boil faster ! for the price , buy it !
