The Classic Flame La Salle Media Console Electric Fireplace(26MM4995-NC72) is a dual purpose unit as both a fully functioning media center and a life-like electric fireplace. Its contemporary design and bow front cabinet makes it an eye catching addition to any room. Electric fireplaces are a great alternative to traditional fireplaces as they are energy efficient and save you the hassle of upkeep that comes with a real fireplace. Realistic resin logs, ember bed and LED flames still add ambiance to any room, and can operate with or without heat. The flames have five (5) levels of brightness settings and the fan-forced heat provides up to 4,600 BTUs an hour of warmth for up to 400 sq. ft. There is no venting or gas line required and the firebox can be plugged into any standard electrical outlet.

With the slim-lime remote control you can activate and control the fireplace settings with the touch of a button and the firebox features manual controls and a digital read out as well. An electronic timer function works with automatic shut off from that can be set from 30 minutes up to 9 hours and features a 2 minute fade out. Safe for use with electronics in the console, the heat will not affect plasma or LCD television screens. The full length open center shelf is a great place for media components and features a wire management system. Two (2) side compartments are a great place for CDs, books and DVDs with adjustable shelves and doors with paned glass windows so you can see the contents of the cabinet.
