Great Buy
In searching for a fan for my den, I read reviews on sevral tower fans and found that Crane had the highest ratings. However, when it arrived, It was very frustrating to find that ALL of the screws were missing - with hot temps going on in the 90s made for additional anxiety to have to wait another few days before installing the fan. Customer Service was w/me throughout this process but it should never have happened. It was truly the shpping dept who failed. My Crane Tower fan is up and running and I truly enjoy the remote control. Am thinking of buying another - I will, however, insist the home offices guarantee the screws WILL BE ENCLUDED.

Looks Good, Works Swell
Before buying this tower fan, I had researched tower fans to death. I was very unhappy with my existing (Lasko) tower fan. It was cheaply made, noisy, unsteady on the pedestal when on high speed and after a few weeks operation, it started having an annoying rattle when the fan was running. After visiting page after page on Google Shopping, I finally found this Crane Tower Fan. Its' minimalist design looks great. It pushes air very well and runs so quietly at low speed I have to put my hand in front of the air outlet to know if it's working. It is expensive when compared to other tower fans, but it is a quality product...well made, substantial and, I think, worth the additional money. The digital readout is difficult to read and, I think, annoyingly bright, but it can be turned off. Backed up with a good warranty. I enthusiastically recommend this tower fan.

We have had a tower fan in the best, but we didn't keep them because there was now way to clean them like you could other fans. I love the design of this and all the details, but I want to be sure it can be cleaned on a regular basis.

Yes, you can clean this fan. Make sure you follow these instructions:Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning the appliance or
attempting to store the item.
Before cleaning, turn the fan off and unplug from electrical outlet. Wipe off excess dust
with a lint free cloth. A vacuum cleaner hose can be used to clean this area if desired.
Should the fan housing become soiled, it can be cleaned with warm (not hot) soapy,
mild detergent solution. Wipe dry. Do not submerse your fan in water or any other
liquid. Do not allow any liquid to get into the fan or motor.
