Works like a champ
Placed in damp basement, it's been pulling water out for a month, cleaned mold up and it has not returned. Noise is not noticed but i do not spend much time there, so far so good. Open box seems fine, real glad with the deal I got. This is the first humidfier I have used and it is all that it was billed,

Unit fan must run all the time, don't know what that will cost for electric,will find out on next bill. Don't think this is the right unit for a basement.
