With an average electricity rate, the unit operates for a remarkable 8¢/hr providing all the ambiance and romance of a fireplace. When you choose to activate the heat feature along with the flame, the unit uses approximately 1500 watts of power. The flame uses slightly under 300 watts of power. On-demand heat with thermostat control warms a room or area up to 400 sq. feet.

Love it
This fireplace was well packaged. It is solid and the variable light and heat settings are perfect. I love the look of it in my bedroom.

Perfect
This fireplace is exactly what we wanted. The size is just right. It arrived in a timely manner. It assembled quickly with no problems. We were concerned about removing the artificial logs to tighten the bulbs. The instructions were not very clear and we were afraid of breaking the plastic. They snapped out hard, but there was no damage. The flames look very nice. The heat is just what is needed to take the chill out of the air in the morning.
