Designed for small to medium hot water production, the Eccotemp Indoor Tankless Water Heater (FVI-12-LP) is perfect for vacation cabins, lake houses and smaller homes. Rated at an impressive 3.4 gallons per minute, this unit is capable of delivering consistent hot water to multiple applications at the same time. In addition, the FVI-12-LP is powered by liquid propane which is generally more energy efficient and carries a lower operating cost than similar electric units.
This unit comes standard with fully independent gas and water controls and allows for precise temperature and water flow adjustment. The temperature setting is digitally displayed in the lower right-hand corner, eliminating the confusion and uncertainty that is sometimes caused by manual knobs and small print. Also included is a 2 1/2" stainless steel horizontal vent kit and UL listed cord.

The generator type you are using are generally full-featured machines with engine idle control, GFCI receptacles and 120 Volt full power switch So there should be no issue.
