Excellent for emergencies & camping This product does not put out a lot of light but is perfect for specific applications. I keep one around the house in the event of a power outage and never have to worry about batteries being dead when it is needed as you simply shake the unit for a few seconds and you have enough light to get around. Also great for camping use as you can throw into your camping supplies and not have to worry about batteries blowing up in the heat or being dead when you need them. July 21, 2010
