Great American 60 Gallon Rain Barrel - Unpainted
At 60 gallons, the Great American Rain Barrel (RET-UNP-BAR) is the largest capacity and best built rainwater collector available. This unit comes complete with overflow fitting, drain plug, screw on cover, and a threaded spigot. For additional water storage, simply link rain barrels together with a short piece of 3/4" garden hose. This is the most durable barrel, with a wall thickness of 3/16".
Each UV protected polyethylene rain barrel is manufactured in the USA from a recycled shipping barrel that stands 39" tall by 24" wide and weighs 20 lbs. empty. Attach your garden hose to the spigot and water your garden or lawn, even wash your car. This rain barrel arrives with simple instructions for fast and easy installation.

The rain barrel was easy to set up, and the instructions were self explanatory. The only additional information that would have been helpful, would refer to where to put the hose attachment for easy watering set up.
The ground here was level, but I can see possibly needing the additional stand if ground settles etc.
I did not need the downspout attachment, it was fairly easy to adjust the height of mine to that of the barrel.

The barrel was used for food products. it shipped to me with no smells/odors and was very clean.

They were originally used to ship food items. Specifically they are used to import olives from Spain. The barrels are recycled by turning them into water collection systems. They are power washed with soap and water. They are not sanitized with any toxins.

The downspout fits directly onto the center of the rain barrel. The lid/entry point can easily be equipped with a screen to ensure no debris gets inside the barrel.To insure a long life for your rain barrel clean it out occasionally. This will help eliminate clogs and other debris from building up inside your barrel.

I have very limited space by one down spout and ample room by another, I need to know if this will hook to a down spout . I had 2 buckets in my yard last night during an all night rain storm and only got about 1 inch of rain in each. So I'm thinking I need something hooked to the two down spouts that I have coming from my roof. ThanksAnswers
