The Guardian Technologies Pureguardian Ultrasonic Table Top Humidifier (H1000) is a compact yet efficient humidifier which features Silver Clean technology to automatically fight the growth of mold and mildew on the surface of the water tank. Thanks to ultrasonic technology this product is virtually silent when it runs making it ideal to have on while you sleep. The humidifier uses cool mist to humidify the room and a low water indicator light lets you know when it's time to refill the 0.23 gallon water tank. It also features a 360 degree spout so that you can direct the flow of this humidifier. Overall, this table-top humidifier is excellent for the bedroom, nursery or work place because it is easy to move, carry refill and uses very little energy (only 18 watts).

Love this humidifier Sitting in an air conditioned office and staring at a computer all day gave me very dry, scratchy eyes. My doctor recommended using a humidifier in my office. This little guy is perfect. Small enough to sit on my desk, looks good, and gives off a good amount of vapor. It's good for a small space or bedroom, don't think it would help much in a bigger room. Water lasts about 6 hours. May 29, 2012

Good purchase For health reasons, needed something for my work area and this model doesn't dominate any floor space. I placed it atop my file cabinet and it works perfectly. I like the ease of filling the chamber with water and not worrying about any type of filter. My first inclination was a less expensive model on Amazon but considering the price it was a still smart purchase thus far. February 16, 2012

The unit does not "sweat", so there is no condensation around it. Depending on how hard your water is, there may be a "white dust" when you use this unit. To avoid that, just use filtered or distilled water.
