Description / Video:

EdgeStar Ultra Low Temp Full Size Kegerator with Stainless Steel Door - Stainless Steel/Black

Set up a home or commercial brewing system to serve cold draft beer using the EdgeStar Ultra Low Temperature Full Size Kegerator with Stainless Steel Door (KC2000SS). EdgeStar full size kegerators are capable of reaching temperatures in the low 30s, making them the coldest of any kegerators on the market. Ideal for seasoned beer enthusiasts looking for a reliable kegerator before spending a fortune on a commercial unit, or people who are just starting out. The EdgeStar full size kegerator is an excellent value, combining a designed-to-fit refrigerator with commercial-grade, NSF-approved components. All pieces are made in the USA, including: a Sankey “D” coupler, stainless steel tower and faucet, and beer and gas hose.

We strongly recommend purchasing a cleaning kit with this kegerator as beer equipment should be cleaned after every keg.

  • What's Included:

Ships complete with all components needed to tap one keg: CO2 tank, regulator, coupler, beer line, air line, tap, tower, drip tray, faucet, and faucet handle (keg not included)

  • Ultra Low Temperature:

EdgeStar full size kegerators are capable of reaching temperatures in the low 30s making them the coldest kegerators on the market

  • Easy and Quick Assembly:

With the owner's guide and an easy-to-navigate system, this full size unit is one of the easiest kegerators on the market in terms of installation

  • Insulated Tower:

Foam insulation lines the inner wall of the tower which helps maintain an even temperature to the beer lines

  • Capacity:

This keg refrigerator can fit most full size half barrel kegs, pony kegs or slim quarter kegs and up to two sixth barrel kegs

  • USA made, Commercial Grade Components:

All the components are made here in the USA and the tower, faucets, handles, and hoses are commercial grade

  • Portable:

The casters that ship with this EdgeStar beer keg cooler allow for easy movement

  • Compact Size:

The KC2000SS is 4” less in external width than standard full size kegerators while retaining the ability to hold a full size keg

  • Stainless Steel Door:

A fully wrapped stainless steel door matches any decor

  • External CO2 Tank:

The CO2 tank will require less refills because it is stored externally. When a CO2 tank is stored inside the kegerator up to 2 times the amount of CO2 is used because cold air makes CO2 less dense

Product Reviews

EdgeStar Ultra Low Temp Full Size Kegerator with Stainless Steel Door 4.4 5 40 47
Miller Kegs I just wanted to post a review for all fellow Miller Lite fans. I read hundreds of reviews on the 2000 and 2000ss and everybody except one person said a Miller lite keg didn't fit in this unit. I went out on a limb today and picked up a 1/2 barrel Miller lite keg. I asked the clerk if I could measure the diameter of this keg compared to AB and other kegs in stock - Same size! I asked if he had any problems with people complaining about the "bulbous" Miller kegs, and he told me the only kegs he has in stock that are too wide for some kegerators were those made by Coors. I purchased the Miller lite keg and brought it home, hoping I didn't just waste $110. Guess what? It fits perfectly, without bungee cords. The door closes perfectly. Cheers! March 2, 2013
Love this thing Look guy ,this unit is great. I always like to buy the best stuff and after reading the reviews. I orderd this one. What more could I want? Works great, looks great, gets your beer as cold as you could ever want and its easy as pie to operate. best of all its quality. Take it fron me spend a little more and just get this unit and be happy. February 5, 2013
Be VERY clear on what you want. The Edgestar kegerator is a great product for the money. I do caution you if ordering to use with a european keg (Guiness) like I did. I called prior to ordering to make sure I ordered everything I needed to hook up a keg of Guinness. (doing my own prior research, I knew I needed a stout faucet, nitorgen tank and regulator and a "U" coupler). The customer service representative was very polite and told me to order it with the "U" coupler, the tank and regulator come with the kegerator. I asked about the stout faucet and they only had it available in brass for $92. I asked about the polished stainless stout faucet shown in the Stout conversion kit. I was told this was out of stock and they gave me a website to order one from. He then said to call after I place my order and he would credit me back $25.for my trouble, which I did but did not receive the credit. I ordered the kegerator and received it two days later (fast shipping). When I went to get the tank filled with beer gas, to my surprise, Airgas Inc could not fill the tank I received with my kegerator. When asked why, they said it is a CO2 tank and nitrogen takes a different fitting. I then found out that the regulator was for CO2 as well and would not work with nitorgen (due to the fitting and nitrogen runs at a higher pressure). I called CA customer service and they said they never had this problem in the past. When I pressed the question further, they said you have to "know" the person filling your tank and that the nitrogen beer gas mixed could in fact be put in the tank they provided. The gentleman from Airgas Inc told me it's against the law for him to put anything but CO2 in a CO2 tank. I explained to CA that I called prior to ordering the kegerator and told them specifically that I was going to use it for Guinness beer and to sell me everything I need to make this work. As it turned out, they credited me back $45 on the purchase for my troubles. In order to get my keg of Guinness hooked up, I had to spend $115 on a new "proper" tank filled with beer gas (75% nitrogen 25% CO2), $93 for a new "proper" regulator for the nitrogen tank, and $85 for a stout faucet. After purchasing all the additional parts, my Guinness keg is hooked up, cold and delicious. August 29, 2011
Good Value- Easy Home Use This product was fairly easy to install. The stainless appearance is a great addition to any bar. Overall a good value for the price. August 9, 2011

I have played with the regulator to no avail. Says 10-12, I tried that. I moved it up to 15, and still all foam. Keg is cold and has been sitting in the kegerator I bought from you for about 6 hours undisturbed.

I had the same problem and lowered the pressure to about 5-6 psi and works great. They say 9-12, but it's too high.

Thanks for your question. The product manual suggests a standard setting of 10-12 that may not always work because PSI varies according to your geographic location (i.e. if you live in valley or at a much higher altitude, etc ). For instance, at my location in Austin, Texas, 3-5 PSI is the best setting. Try this setting and see if that helps with your foam issue. Also, you may want to check out the Kegerator Troubleshooting Guide at our niche website, Kegerator.com: http://www.kegerator.com/Buyers+Gui...

There is not a PSI chart for beers, as there are many factors that can affect what PSI you should use. Among them are the weather, humidity, atmospheric pressure, altitude, type of beer, and temperature. That said, most beers are good between 8 and 12 PSI, however, finding the right PSI for your environment is a lot of trial and error.

Did you get this resolved? If not, I may be able to help. I just bought an Equator kegerator and I think it's the same one you have. I was able to adjust the thermometer.

Let me know.

Thank you for your question. This question is best answered by a technician who will be able to diagnose the kegerator. It is possible that the thermostat has failed or tampering may have damaged the thermostat. Please contact EdgeStar support at 1.866.319.5473 at your earliest convenience for a diagnosis of your machine.

Since this is an indoor unit, it is not a good idea to store it in an environment that will get above 90 degrees or below 50 degrees. If you were to have it in an environment that is outside of those temperature ranges, the unit will not cool properly, and the life of the compressor will be shortened.
