Description:

EdgeStar Full Size Dual Tap Kegerator & Draft Beer Dispenser - Black

Set up a home or commercial brewing system to serve cold draft beer using the EdgeStar Full Size Dual Tap Kegerator & Draft Beer Dispenser (KC2000TWIN). Ideal for seasoned beer enthusiasts looking for a reliable kegerator before spending a fortune on a commercial unit, or people who are just starting out. The EdgeStar full size kegerator is an excellent value, combining a designed-to-fit refrigerator with commercial-grade, NSF-approved components. All pieces are made in the USA, including: a Sankey “D” coupler, stainless steel tower and faucet, and beer and gas hose>.

We strongly recommend purchasing a cleaning kit with this kegerator as beer equipment should be cleaned after every keg.

  • What's Included:

Ships complete with all components needed to tap one keg or two sixth barrels: CO2 tank, regulator, coupler, beer lines, air lines, tap, tower, drip tray, faucets and faucet handles (keg not included)

  • Easy and Quick Assembly:

With the owner's guide and an easy-to-navigate system, this full size unit is one of the easiest kegerators on the market in terms of installation

  • Insulated Tower:

Foam insulation lines the inner wall of the tower which helps maintain an even temperature to the beer lines

  • Capacity:

This keg refrigerator can fit most full size half barrel kegs, pony kegs or slim quarter kegs and up to two sixth barrel kegs

  • USA made, Commercial Grade Components:

All the components are made here in the USA and the tower, faucets, handles, and hoses are commercial grade

  • Portable:

The casters that ship with this EdgeStar beer keg cooler allow for easy movement

  • Compact Size:

The KC2000TWIN is 4” less in external width than standard full size kegerators while retaining the ability to hold a full size keg

  • External CO2 Tank:

The CO2 tank will require less refills because it is stored externally. When a CO2 tank is stored inside the kegerator up to 2 times the amount of CO2 is used because cold air makes CO2 less dense

Product Reviews

EdgeStar Full Size Dual Tap Kegerator & Draft Beer Dispenser 4.2 5 31 37
Perfect for Home Brewers We brew our own brew and it is MUCH easier to fill batches to a keg than bottle. This dual head kegerator is fabulous. April 30, 2013
Solid Kegerator I ordered a dual tap kegerator which works great. The directions could have been a bit more user friendly, but taking your time, you can figure it all out. Well worth the purchase. No issues with delivery - very fast. Thanks! January 20, 2013
Much better than expected! I was impressed with the reviews for this product and bit the bullet. There were some reservations about ease of assembly and temperature control based on other reviews. While there were no written instructions, the graphic assembly diagram was perfect! As for the temperature control, I can crank it down to 30+ degrees F. I put it right to use with a batch of homebrew and it works perfectly! The delivery (i.e. shipping) was better than expected and the quality of components and workmanship impressive. I would buy another in a heartbeat. November 28, 2012
Exceeded expectations After reading some reviews I was concerned with the purchase, but that quickly changed. Product arrived earlier than expected. It was double boxed, and eventhough the external box had damage, the inner box was intact. Assembly was without problem. All holes were predrilled. Unit cooled rapidly and internal temperature, using glass of water, is at 34 degrees. Only 1 gas distributor to fill CO2. Hopefully that will not become a problem. And you can only fit 2 1/6 barrels in the cooler. A 1/6 and a tall 1/4 is just slightly too big. Adjusted regulator to 12 psi which produces an excellent pour with 1/4" head. Very satisfied with product so far. I did replace the black tap handles with custom, and purchased a larger chrome drip tray, which increases the visual appeal. November 15, 2012

I received one of these for Christmas and I haven't been able to set it up yet. Is it possible to stack two 1/4 barrels in order to use both taps?

Some of the microbrewery's in this area do not offer 1/6 barrels yet.

You are able to fit two slim quarter (slim 1/4) kegs side by side but would not be able to stack them.

Can this be built in?

Details:
Hi! I'm building a basement bar & really want a dual tap - built in kegerator - to mount under a bar top with the tower cut through. The user manual says this model shouldn't be enclosed, but can proper ventilation & mounting the CO2 cannister on the side remedy this? The models that are labeled "built in" are at lease twice as expensive :( Cheers!

True built-in models utilize front-mounted ventilation systems. In order for this model to receive proper ventilation, it must have at least 2-3 inches of space around the sides and 3-4 inches of space around the back of the unit. It should not be installed flush with cabinetry as this could cause overheating.

I just can't get two 1/6 barrels to fit. I've tried the positions shown in the picture on this website page, I've tried other variations, and I can't make the door close and stay shut. The two sixths I have are packaged a little bit differently, one is all metal and one seems to be molded plastic (on the outside anyway). Am I just doing it wrong, or in addition to being sixths, do they need to be a more particular kind of barrel?

You would be correct in that some types of kegs will not fit properly. However, due to issues seen with plastic kegs in recent times, they are actually declining in usage.

unfortunately, not all 1/6 kegs are built the same. I have managed to fit two 1/6 kegs plus the 5 Ib CO2 tank in the same manner they have pictured for the add. I feel the kegerator probably should have been built to easily accommedate two kegs and not to the point where they barely fit. My second keg hangs outside the kegerator by about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Luckly the door has a deep enough concave to fit it. You may have the same situation and just need to shuffle them around till the door can close.

Figured it out. Apparently the new style of sixth, a plastic/rubber coated keg with thin bumper edges around the top, bottom, and middle, won't fit. When I put it two straight metal ones they fit fine. My distributor says more brands are starting to switch over to the bumper kegs, though, which is a bummer since it means I can't put any local beers (our 2 local brewers both use them) on tap using this kegerator.

I'm buying a kegerator as a birthday present for my boyfriend and I'm wondering if it comes with a tap. I also would like to know, does the CO2 canister have to go on the outside or can it go inside. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing back from you.

The tap is included. The CO2 canister mounts on the back of the unit. It will fit inside, but not conveniently.

A:
The kegerator does include the tap and all other parts you need to get started, except that you'll need to get the CO2 canister filled since it must ship empty.

This kegerator is designed to have a smaller profile with mounts of the back of the unit for the CO2 canister - it could be put inside the refrigerator but you would most likely have to use a smaller than standard-size keg.

Hope this helps!
