It can be used freestanding, or it's easy to install in your counter by removing the four screws from the grill flange and removing the stainless steel outer enclosure - then just set it into your countertop cutout. Cleanup is a breeze with a removable non-stick grate that can be put in the dishwasher along with the lid. Just empty the drip tray and you're done!
