Be energy efficient this summer with the LG 8000 BTU Window Air Conditioner (LW8012EROB). This air conditioner was designed with two major themes in mind, cost efficiency, and user functionality. To achieve the first of these goals LG built this unit to be incredibly energy efficient and it achieved an Energy Star rating. Some of the energy saving features include a programmable on/off timer that allows you to set your A.C. to shut off when you are no longer going to be in the room. An adjustable thermostat is also built in to keep the room at the desired temperature and not over or under cool the room. Another cost efficient feature of the unit is that it has a washable air filter that wont have to be replaced for years to come.
For functionality, LG built in a simple but effective digital control panel on the front of the unit that allows you to see what temperature the thermostat is set to and adjust the controls with easy push buttons. The temperature, fan speed, and timer are also adjustable via remote control, for incredible user convenience. This unit also has four (4) way air deflection to make sure that the entire room is cooled evenly and there are not dead, or hot spots in the circulation. Finally a built in auto restart feature ensures that the unit starts cooling again after an unanticipated power outage.
