Worth it
This is a great product. Runs great with no issues. Maintenance is a key thing for this, such as cleaning the rubber seals after every use, cleaning the pump filter every few weeks and using the tub clean cycle monthly. Do those and this will last a long time.

Washer/Dryer Combo
This product is AWESOME !!!! When used properly i have had wonderful results with both the washer and dryer mode, and a tad bit of envy from my neighbors too. I live in a community where our laundry room is constantly torn up, so not only i am able to save money but my safety as well. The one point i will make if someone wants a washer dryer combo... when used properly they will work... they wont if you stuff them full with no room to spare.

An Innovative & Rugged Product!!
I have only had this machine for 3 months, but it is a surprisingly valuable asset for small suite and urban townhome live/work spaces. It is quiet and dependable throughout all of the cycles. I was able to work out the kinks with the "sanitary cycle" as it does not really clarify this in the instructional booklet. This cycle is very valuable as it allows you to use only cold water. It automatically heats the cold to an incredibly hot temperature, effectively cleaning those hard white items such as rags and towels used for cleaning. Imagine being able to walk away and work, knowing that you don't have to stop the machine to put in anything else- and having lower energy bills!!!

Super convenient
This washer is amazingly convenient to use and brings the joy of a personal washer dryer to apartment dwellers without need for special wiring and ducting. It also does not take a lot of water but cleans extremely well yet gently and clothes come out very soft. It has a bit of a learning curve to learn how best to set it for different types of loads since it runs a different principal from the typical washers most of us have experience with, but once learned it is very easy. It would be nice to have the option to put in for a bit more drying if comes out too damp, without starting over with a rinse and full dry cycle.
A fair amount of lint is generated, so it is important to wipe it out with each cycle. It is of concern that other reviews cite problems with lint getting into the machine and it requiring service to correct. I have not seen this yet but am careful to wipe out the lint and clean the pump filter with each cycle and have only had it for a few months. If true, LG should address the design flaw. Overall it lives up to its name and makes "life good"

Will I be able to remove some clothes after wash cycle and leave some for the dry cycle to continue?
Details:
Some clothes I don't want to be included in dry cycle. A few reviews stated that you can't distinguish between wash and dry cycle, or open the door. I'd need to remove some but have the rest dried. Also, some reviews state that you can have just the dry cycle run, so in situations where clothes are not completely dry you have to run them through wash cycle again before drying.

Hello, I would like to buy this item as soon as possible before Labor Day. I understand this can be made portable.1) Can I install this to my bathroom sink?
2) Do I need the Y connector or the quick connect device?
3) Does it come with instructions on how to set these up? I have never used a portable washing machine.

Try going to LG.com I read u can hook up to any sink.. y i think is to hook up both hot and cold if i remember right .. from a cold water source only..The owners manuals are downloadable!! But if u want portable use GET WHEELS!!! All are HREAVY

Yes, you can install this to work with your bathroom sink. You will need both the quick connect faucet adapter, and the Y connector. You screw the faucet adapter into your sink, then attach the Y connector to the faucet adapter, and then attach the hot and cold hoses to the Y connector. When running the unit, use only cold water as it will save you both time and money. The drying cycle on the unit is more efficient if you use cold water. If you wish to wash something in hot water, set the unit for hot and the unit will heat the water.

6500 watts at 120v is 54 amps. The electrical requirement is 12 amps at 120v, so you have plenty of power. If you want something bigger you have enough to move up. I looked at the 3.6cf washer/dryer and it has the same power requirement as well.Details:

No, you need a washer hookup. The dryer does not have to be vented.

You can hook this up in a couple of ways. You can hook to standard washing machine hookups, or you can connect it to a sink. To connect to a sink, you will need the adapter and Y connector. In both cases, you just hook up the water and put the drain in the most convenient place. There is no special drain required.
