Only 24 inches wide, this compact combo has a generous 2.7 cu. ft. capacity and offers nine (9) washing cycles, six (6) drying cycles and five (5) temperature levels. GREATEST LITTLE MACHINE EVER!
To be honest, I had misgivings when I began researching the washer/dryer combos, but having moved from a large house into a small trailer, with limited space, there was only one option. And, that option was a single machine no larger than 24" wide, that would fit in the bathroom closet. We opted for the LG, because it's a name we trust. Wow! This little machine is the greatest and I do mean that! Yes, we have only had it a week, but I am amazed every time I use it; just program it and forget it. Sometime this year we might be moving to larger living quarters and will have to leave our LG behind. I will never buy another "set" of washers and dryers. My plan for our larger quarters will be to buy the LG 3.6 or 4.2 model. My husband and I are in in our early/mid 60's and I can see how this machine would be a real boon for the older set in regards to not having to transfer laundry from machine to machine. Yay!!!!!!

Best invention ever.
I am disabled and our family waxher/dryer is in the basement. I would send my clothes to be washed with my husband or kids and not see them again for weeks, sometimes never. We added on a first floor master bedroom and put this machine in the bathroom. I can now wash my things myself without changing machines or trying to use hard to reach controls or openings. Love it, have had it a year.

Glad we got it!
The machine did what LG said it would do. It works great for me and my wife and it handles our king size sheets. Now we have more room in our laundry space for storage or pantry. I would not recommend for family of five because of drying time but perfect for small family. I am very happy because my WIFE is HAPPY enough said.

Very convenient space saving machine that efficiently washes and dries most materials. Expect longer dry cycle due to the combination of functions and when full loads are washed, load must be split in half for drying..

I also live in an old condo building...with the quiet feet on the bottom of the unit, I barely hear or feel it and the neighbor below me hasn't heard or felt it yet.

Thank you for your question. There is a possibility that your neighbors could hear some vibration depending on how well balanced your laundry load is and how well insulated your floor is. We do offer VibeAway pads (model number VA1) to put under your machine to help out with this. This shock absorption pad reduces sound as well as the tendency for washer and dryers to move from their initial position (or "walk") during each cycle. These pads also reduce the need to reinforce upper level floors to reduce vibration and noise, making them very downstairs neighbor friendly. In addition, these pads help to reduce the natural wear and tear that occurs when these appliances experience prolonged vibration.Here is a link:

This unit (according to the video) has separate hoses for hot and cold water. None of the water sources in my home have separate faucets for hot and cold. They have one faucet that produces both hot and cold. How would I hook this unit up to water? Thanks!Answers

Hook it up to cold only. The machine prefers to heat its own water.

Many customers believe they cannot use a washer dryer combo for this reason. However, the solution is actually quite easy. You simply get the quick connect faucet adapter and Y connector. You hook the faucet adapter to the faucet, then connect the Y connector to the adapter. Then, you connect the hoses to the ends of the Y adapter. When using a washer dryer combo in this manner, it is best to just use cold water, as the unit will heat the water if it needs to, and cold water helps the unit dry more effectively.

It washes and drys in one cycle in one machine, the dry time is about hour and a half. We really like and yes it does work.

Yes, this unit will dry as well as wash. A lot of customers buy this and use it solely as a washing machine. So, the unit has a delay function that will allow you to set it to start and finish just when the dryer is finished, if you are using a separate dryer.
