Metrokane introduces The Vertical Rabbit, a wine opener that stands up on the wine bottle and operates vertically. While the design is totally different, it offers the same quick and easy cork extraction capabilities as the Original Rabbit. The Vertical Rabbit can pull a cork out of a bottle in three seconds and automatically ejects it.

Available in two high-sheen racing-car finishes - Gun-Metal Grey and Candy-Apple Red - as well as Velvet Black, this unique corkscrew features a die-cast metal lever handle and comes in a hinged Lucite presentation case.

Beautiful Design The wine opener works really good! Great design (a little heavy) but overall a great item to have August 18, 2010

Uncorks wine in less than a minute Metrokane Houdini uncorks wine bottles very quickly. The packaging says it takes 3 seconds, but I would argue that it takes closer to 30 seconds. Be sure to hold onto the neck tightly when bringing the "ear" upwards to remove the bottle cork. The Houdini comes in a hinged acrylic box (great for gifting). The quality is high on this product, there are metal parts that make the wine opener somewhat heavy. The "Rabbit head" is a matte black finish that feels like neoprene. The ears are a solid metal with chrome finish and rubber grips to prevent slipping. This wine opener includes a plastic foil cutter with a mirrored chrome finish and an extra replacement corkscrew. good corkscrew a little pricey Nice product!! Product stuck a little when pulling out cork. Keep pulling if it feels like it's getting stuck, cork will come out of the wine bottle. Corkscrew is bulky, works well though. Foil cutter is great and foil comes off clean with no jagged edges. Comes with extra worm. July 22, 2010
