Details:
I noticed the description says it has an easy "carrying handle" but is that for the bucket or entire device? I'm looking for an enclosed bucket with a handle to carry for emptying. I currently have a GE 40 pt dehumidifier and love the bucket because no spilling of water, etc. but it is going out now so have to find a new one and looks like all the current models and brands only carry the open bucket.Answers

This unit has an open bucket with a handle. The unit I would suggest that has a closed bucket in this size and price range is the EdgeStar DEP400EW. It has a closed bucket with a handle, and it runs quieter than this unit.

Thank you for your question. By design, when the desired humidity level in the room has been met the machine will shut off. This could be what is occurring in your case.
