Upgraded accessory kit
This accessory kit fits two models of mini kegerators. One is the Edgestar TBC50BL, the other is the Avanti MBD5L (they are identical). I own both and love these units. There are two weak points on these kegerators. 1) the 16g Co2 cartridge holder and 2) the "clamping hose" designed faucet. This accessory kit has upgraded components from the original "plastic" design to "aluminum" regarding the 16g Co2 cartridge holder and fitting to the pressure gauge.... HOORAY! a superior design with no Co2 gas leaks! Edgestar must have pushed for the improvement as Avanti has dropped the MBD5L from its line, so kudos to Edgestar for caring about quality for their customers. So this kit really is worth purchasing, one, for not having to be limited in using just pressurized kegs; and two, upgrading an older kegerator model that has lower quality parts.
As far as the faucet goes, Edgestar provides a new section of hose in the kit to replace a worn out one (it will leak beer out of it). It's only a matter of time before you have to do it again. I fixed the problem by modifying the kegerator to accept a real beer faucet (after the warranty was over of course). The set up now is perfect and dependable!!!

Cool feature
We haven't used this yet - but overall the items and directions for use are clearly labeled. The fact that this lets you use other 5L kegs is great. We intend to get lots of use out of this product. Does have a lot of parts and seemed confusing at first, but overall should be easy to use.

Money saved!
Better quality than the original parts that came with it. Very pleased I purchased this. This product saved me from having to buy a whole new unit.

Bring verstablity to a great product
I use the Mini Keg as a product to bring my close to sufficiency I run it on 12 volt DC power that was created by the sun and the adapter kit makes it more versatile. I Love everything about it.

Good video on YouTube showing viewers how to make it work! Search it! Slight modification w a drill but thats it. I'm excited because I got the Krups unit as a gift and don't drink Heineken!
