Not professional, but nice to use.
Unfortunately, my kitchen is small, and decided to sacrifice range size for more counter space. I chose Summit because it's made in the U.S.A. and has sealed burners. Though the range had been meticulously leveled (levelers gave much leeway for the more than half-inch difference in floor slope), the grates over the burners still do not sit evenly. (Considering having new grates custom-made.) The oven heats up quickly, but the heat is not even throughout-- even though it's gas-- and the pan needed turning.
I like it better than the Avanti, however, which I've used at a friend's apartment. The sleek look, oven window and light makes cooking pleasant. The sides allow large pans to rest securely over grate and edge. The flame is easy to adjust including a simmer setting, and heats pans evenly on the stove. It looks fantastic overall and cleans up nicely.
Since there are no higher end models available at this size, I chose this one over the other ones that are available. I would have gladly paid the extra money, however, to have an impeccable finish such as level stove-top grates.
