HEPA Air Purifiers: Experience Refreshing & Clean Air
If you are one of the millions of people dealing with asthma or allergy symptoms, a high-efficiency particulate air purifier, also known as a HEPA air purifier, can offer you relief by improving your indoor air quality. Air purifiers with a HEPA filter offer the most advanced technology in air filtration. These air purifiers work to remove fine particulates from the air that may trigger allergy or asthma attacks.
No matter how much time you spend vacuuming, cleaning and dusting, there are still microscopic irritants in the air that you breathe. There are many types of air purifiers that can help you purify the air in your home, but none of them are as effective or efficient as one that uses a HEPA filter.
The Benefits of Using a HEPA Filter
HEPA filters have the ability to remove 99.97% of all airborne particles that are 0.3 microns or larger. Essentially, a HEPA filter is made up of millions of microscopic threads that trap airborne particles. This type of air filter can remove many of the most irritating particles that may be floating around in the air of your home, including dust, mold, pollen and pet dander. By using a HEPA filter in your home, you will not only improve your overall indoor air quality, but you'll give everyone a fresher take on life.
The main benefit of using a HEPA air purifier is how effective they are at improving your indoor air quality. By removing the airborne irritants known to trigger allergies or asthma symptoms, you make it easier for those affected to control their symptoms. Everyone in the house can breathe easier knowing that the air is clean and free of particles that may lead to bothersome ailments.
Why You Should Buy A HEPA Air Purifier
If you truly want to improve your indoor air quality in your home, you need to spend time cleaning your air. Using a HEPA air purifier make this process easy and effortless. You simply plug it in and let it do all the work while you enjoy other activities. Another reason people decide to buy a HEPA air purifier is due to having pets in their home. The companionship of a dog or a cat is a great addition to a family. Unfortunately, pet lovers often have to deal with bothersome allergies to pet dander as well as certain odors that may linger in the air. Using an air purifier with a HEPA filter is a great way to combat these issues, allowing you to love on your furry friend without the fear of constant sneezing, itchy eyes or stinky smells.
If you have young kids or senior citizens in the house, you may want to consider using a HEPA air purifier. With developing, or compromised, immune systems, they may be susceptible to many ailments. Improving the air they breathe can go a long way in ensuring that they stay healthy.

General Summary of Proposition 65
The “California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986” (more commonly referred to as ‘Proposition 65’)
was enacted to ensure that customers be properly warned when a product contains a substance known to cause cancer or
reproductive harm. The law requires the State of California to publish and maintain (annually) a list of substances
to be available to the general public. Additionally, the law requires that businesses properly notify residents of
the State of California about the presence of these substances in the products they purchase, or that may be present
in their homes, workplaces, or that otherwise may be released into the environment. The specific list contains a wide
range of naturally occurring and synthetic substances including manufacturing and construction chemicals, pesticides,
tobacco, food-additives, solvents, household products, drugs and byproducts created from a specific product usage.
You may have noticed the below warning label on our products, or on products from other manufacturers. The warning
has become increasingly commonplace and oftentimes raises questions about why the warning exists, and what it means
to a customer. The warning itself is just one of many requirements for businesses operating in and/or selling products
to customers in the the State of California. The warning does not mean that a product that includes the warning will
cause cancer or reproductive harm, but rather it simply is provided in order to educate the consumer that a substance
may exist. A large number of the substances listed under Proposition 65 have been in regular use for many years
without any documented harm to a consumer. This is due to the low concentrations and minimal exposure that actually
occurs with these substances. Those chemicals, however, have been determined by the State of California to be listed
as potentially harmful.
I don’t live in California. Why did my product include this warning?
In order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements we have determined that all products manufactured by
Living Direct Inc, including products sold under the EdgeStar, Avallon and Koldfront brands, should include the
above-referenced warning label. This labeling requirements exists for all of our products regardless of the
location / destination to which the product is ultimately sold and/or shipped.
We believe that our products, when used as designed, are not harmful and as such this warning is provided
in order to properly conform to the requirements of Proposition 65.
