Whether you’re at home or at work, chemicals in the air can be a real hazard to anyone who breathes them on a daily basis, even causing lung diseases and other serious issues over time if the situation is not remedied. This is where purchasing a chemical air purifier comes in. Unlike regular air purifiers, these are specially designed to pull chemicals found in tobacco smoke, household cleaners and other substances from the air and trap them inside a heavy-duty series of filters, meaning your air is clean and free of these harmful gaseous debris and you can breathe easy. These medical-grade purifiers typically have multiple steps of filtration in order to ensure that everything from dust and pet allergens to smoke and dangerous chemicals are removed from your air to keep your lungs happy and healthy in the years to come with as little hassle as possible on your part.
Extensive Benefits and Unbeatable Reliability
A chemical air purifier simply goes above and beyond in the line of duty, regardless of where it’s stationed or what type of pollutants it’s challenged with throughout the average day. These heavy-duty systems are equally important at home, in industrial settings or even inside medical facilities. This versatility is simply unbeatable, and ensures that any buyer is able to make the most of their purchase right away in any number of settings. These machines use an activated carbon filter to eliminate gaseous contaminants in the chosen environment, leaving behind nothing but clean, healthy air for those in this space.
Simple maintenance is yet another benefit of this product. While it works hard to keep your air clean and pure, there’s little work you must do in return. Filters typically last around one year, and are simple to order and replace when the time comes. Most models come with a new filter indicator. Not only does a chemical air purifier take care of potentially hazardous additions to your air, but also serves to prevent and eliminate odors which might threaten to settle in and take over an area, such as tobacco smoke or various cleaning supplies that leave behind strong, undesirable scents. Typically, these machines have a huge coverage range, oftentimes purifying up to 1,500 square feet at a time, which is monumental compared to the specs offered by traditional air purifiers. This simple maintenance, and thorough, far-reaching effectiveness simply cannot be beat by other comparable products on the market and make it at home in practically any environment.
For those who are serious about keeping the air in their home, business or other location as clean as possible, purchasing and installing a chemical air purifier may be just the solution to get the job done. With complete benefits and easy maintenance, there certainly seems to be no other part that can get the job done quite like these additions. Living Direct has a wide variety of chemically-concerned air purifiers in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, strengths and prices in order to ensure that this is the right option for any room, regardless of style or dimensions. Making your purchase soon ensures you’ll get your purifier as soon as possible so you can keep your family protected from potentially hazardous chemicals and smoke right away, as well as dust, allergens and other unwanted airborne pests.
General Summary of Proposition 65
The “California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986” (more commonly referred to as ‘Proposition 65’)
was enacted to ensure that customers be properly warned when a product contains a substance known to cause cancer or
reproductive harm. The law requires the State of California to publish and maintain (annually) a list of substances
to be available to the general public. Additionally, the law requires that businesses properly notify residents of
the State of California about the presence of these substances in the products they purchase, or that may be present
in their homes, workplaces, or that otherwise may be released into the environment. The specific list contains a wide
range of naturally occurring and synthetic substances including manufacturing and construction chemicals, pesticides,
tobacco, food-additives, solvents, household products, drugs and byproducts created from a specific product usage.
You may have noticed the below warning label on our products, or on products from other manufacturers. The warning
has become increasingly commonplace and oftentimes raises questions about why the warning exists, and what it means
to a customer. The warning itself is just one of many requirements for businesses operating in and/or selling products
to customers in the the State of California. The warning does not mean that a product that includes the warning will
cause cancer or reproductive harm, but rather it simply is provided in order to educate the consumer that a substance
may exist. A large number of the substances listed under Proposition 65 have been in regular use for many years
without any documented harm to a consumer. This is due to the low concentrations and minimal exposure that actually
occurs with these substances. Those chemicals, however, have been determined by the State of California to be listed
as potentially harmful.
I don’t live in California. Why did my product include this warning?
In order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements we have determined that all products manufactured by
Living Direct Inc, including products sold under the EdgeStar, Avallon and Koldfront brands, should include the
above-referenced warning label. This labeling requirements exists for all of our products regardless of the
location / destination to which the product is ultimately sold and/or shipped.
We believe that our products, when used as designed, are not harmful and as such this warning is provided
in order to properly conform to the requirements of Proposition 65.
