Getting a smoke air purifier is an excellent way to ensure that the air you’re breathing is as clean as possible throughout your everyday routine in any room of your home or apartment. This product does exactly what the name suggests, and cleanses the air in your room of choice by drawing it into the mechanism and running it through a thorough filtering process that traps smoke and other harmful particles in a series of filters specifically designed to take care of different types of debris that might be found in any home. This means that this debris is removed from the air you, your family and your pets are breathing. Normal air purifiers were not designed to handle smoke and other gaseous pollutants, so if you live with a smoker or happen to be one yourself, installing one of these helpful items may be an integral part of keeping your home clean as well.
Dependability and Ease of Use
As concern over debris and various pollutants in the air rises among the general public, the market for air purifiers has expanded at a staggering rate, allowing customers access to dozens of brands and hundreds of models with which to clean the air around them. However, since many of these purifiers are not built to filter out smoke and other gaseous pollutants, they don’t always get the job done. An air purifier for smoke does not simply run the air through a single filter and call it a day. Rather, these products push air through a variety of systems and up to four different types of filters in order to ensure that all smoke, allergens, pollutants and many other undesirable particles are captured and dealt with properly. This leaves nothing but pure oxygen in the area to enter your lungs, reducing potential sickness and allergic reactions for all members of your household.
This product can be indispensable for a household that contains smokers. While the smoke may appear to simply fade away in mere seconds, the residue and odors left behind do not. These specially-designed air filters prevent smoke odors from building up in furniture and other aspects of a home and prevent nicotine from settling into the walls and creating difficult stains that are nearly impossible to remove once they’ve set in. This more stringent purifying procedure is also a solution for those with severe allergies to pets, pollen, and dust. Maintenance is simple as well, and owners only need to replace the filters when their manual or the machine itself indicates that this action is required in order to ensure the best possible results throughout everyday use. Some of the best models have a coverage area of up to 750 square feet. This means you’re able to make the most of your purchase and breathe deeply and with confidence in the years to come. Keeping the air of apartments or other small living spaces clean is a breeze.
In the end, there are many reasons why you should consider purchasing an air purifier for smoke, allergens, dust and other everyday debris that passes through your home. Making this investment is the first step towards having clean, cool air free of irritants and potentially harmful substances for years to come. Living Direct has a huge selection of models available with a variety of different strengths and coverage which make this the perfect solution for any sized living space and budget. Ordering from us ensures you have your top-quality machine as soon as possible so you can more thoroughly protect yourself, your family and your home from the potential damages of dirty air as soon as possible.
General Summary of Proposition 65
The “California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986” (more commonly referred to as ‘Proposition 65’)
was enacted to ensure that customers be properly warned when a product contains a substance known to cause cancer or
reproductive harm. The law requires the State of California to publish and maintain (annually) a list of substances
to be available to the general public. Additionally, the law requires that businesses properly notify residents of
the State of California about the presence of these substances in the products they purchase, or that may be present
in their homes, workplaces, or that otherwise may be released into the environment. The specific list contains a wide
range of naturally occurring and synthetic substances including manufacturing and construction chemicals, pesticides,
tobacco, food-additives, solvents, household products, drugs and byproducts created from a specific product usage.
You may have noticed the below warning label on our products, or on products from other manufacturers. The warning
has become increasingly commonplace and oftentimes raises questions about why the warning exists, and what it means
to a customer. The warning itself is just one of many requirements for businesses operating in and/or selling products
to customers in the the State of California. The warning does not mean that a product that includes the warning will
cause cancer or reproductive harm, but rather it simply is provided in order to educate the consumer that a substance
may exist. A large number of the substances listed under Proposition 65 have been in regular use for many years
without any documented harm to a consumer. This is due to the low concentrations and minimal exposure that actually
occurs with these substances. Those chemicals, however, have been determined by the State of California to be listed
as potentially harmful.
I don’t live in California. Why did my product include this warning?
In order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements we have determined that all products manufactured by
Living Direct Inc, including products sold under the EdgeStar, Avallon and Koldfront brands, should include the
above-referenced warning label. This labeling requirements exists for all of our products regardless of the
location / destination to which the product is ultimately sold and/or shipped.
We believe that our products, when used as designed, are not harmful and as such this warning is provided
in order to properly conform to the requirements of Proposition 65.
