Kitchenettes: How to Save Money & Space In Your Kitchen
Do you have a small kitchen? Do you need a temporary kitchen solution during a remodeling project? Combo kitchens are the compact, convenient solution to fitting all your kitchen needs into a small space. Small areas feel much larger when your space is utilized well, especially when you know how to make the most out of your small living spaces. Find the right compact kitchen for your space, compete with a stove, refrigerator, sink, cupboards, and countertop.
Why Kitchenettes Are Perfect For Small Kitchens
Whether your small kitchen is in an apartment or an RV, you can fit a kitchenette in a space as small as 30 inches, or you may choose a model that offers a greater amount of counter space. When you fit your important kitchen appliances in such a limited area, you can freely use the space you gain by forgoing the typical size of appliances.
Some people enjoy the extra counter space they find when they renovate a small kitchen with the help of a combo kitchen. Others turn a rented bedroom into a functional kitchen in order to gain the additional privacy that is had with their own kitchen. Still others use compact kitchens to help them maintain a normal lifestyle while they renovate their homes. The uses and benefits of combination kitchens are as varied as your unique needs.
You can find a variety of sizes of combo kitchens, with one of the larger ones being a 48 inch model. Even a spacious combination kitchen like this runs off of a standard 115-volt circuit, allowing you to place it wherever it is most convenient for you. The refrigerator and freezer store the food you need for meals or snacks, and a cabinet holds a surprising number of dishes. Most combo kitchen units are made to last, so you can rest assured the quality will be up to par.
They also make compact kitchens with adjustable shelves and attractive, stainless steel sinks. These kitchens are made to look good in whatever space you need to fill, complete with a sleek design that adds a sense of hominess to your surroundings.
The many benefits of combination kitchens make their small price tags shocking. Purchasing individual kitchen appliances alone can get expensive, and then you have to find places to put all of them. If you invest in a combo kitchen, you can save money and a great deal of space all at the same time.
General Summary of Proposition 65
The “California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986” (more commonly referred to as ‘Proposition 65’)
was enacted to ensure that customers be properly warned when a product contains a substance known to cause cancer or
reproductive harm. The law requires the State of California to publish and maintain (annually) a list of substances
to be available to the general public. Additionally, the law requires that businesses properly notify residents of
the State of California about the presence of these substances in the products they purchase, or that may be present
in their homes, workplaces, or that otherwise may be released into the environment. The specific list contains a wide
range of naturally occurring and synthetic substances including manufacturing and construction chemicals, pesticides,
tobacco, food-additives, solvents, household products, drugs and byproducts created from a specific product usage.
You may have noticed the below warning label on our products, or on products from other manufacturers. The warning
has become increasingly commonplace and oftentimes raises questions about why the warning exists, and what it means
to a customer. The warning itself is just one of many requirements for businesses operating in and/or selling products
to customers in the the State of California. The warning does not mean that a product that includes the warning will
cause cancer or reproductive harm, but rather it simply is provided in order to educate the consumer that a substance
may exist. A large number of the substances listed under Proposition 65 have been in regular use for many years
without any documented harm to a consumer. This is due to the low concentrations and minimal exposure that actually
occurs with these substances. Those chemicals, however, have been determined by the State of California to be listed
as potentially harmful.
I don’t live in California. Why did my product include this warning?
In order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements we have determined that all products manufactured by
Living Direct Inc, including products sold under the EdgeStar, Avallon and Koldfront brands, should include the
above-referenced warning label. This labeling requirements exists for all of our products regardless of the
location / destination to which the product is ultimately sold and/or shipped.
We believe that our products, when used as designed, are not harmful and as such this warning is provided
in order to properly conform to the requirements of Proposition 65.
